Rotary works hard to make a difference. Here are just a few of the important differences our members have created among their local residences and neighborhoods.

Improving Schools

Our club raised $400,000 to build a new wing at the historic Jessica Pearson Secondary School. The brand new classrooms and science lab are providing our local students with new and exciting opportunities. The lab has integrated a one of a kind Maker lab. Students can collaborate and share with community members to recycle old devices, new 3D printed materials, and specialized items to build fascinating new creations.

Give an Inch Initiative

Safety starts with us.

The Give and Inch community has worked with city planning to develop safer paths, more driver awareness, and better visibility for bikers. With an 84% reduction in collisions and injuries, quality of our cyclist's lives has drastically improved.

Growing Roots

A tradition in the community, our Garden Harvest - Growing Roots has spread its roots around the town. Over the years, we have also begun accepting cash donations, kitchen fixtures, and cooking supplies. This year, we are excited to announce a distribution competition. We are sourcing ideas from the community to better get our 8 tonnes of produce to those who need it most.
